The Syrian Army Operations Command said one of its bases near Al-Yarubiyah in Hasakah countryside was hit by rocket fire. It added that the attack involved five rockets launched from the vicinity of Tal Al-Hawa, about 20 km inside Iraqi territory. The operations command said it is coordinating with Iraq, which has begun search operations for those responsible, while Syrian forces remain on full alert.
