A bomb exploded at the Pavilion banquet centre in Lakatamia, Nicosia, in the early hours of Monday, causing damage to the entrance.
According to the police, the explosion occurred around 3.20am, prompting officers and members of the bomb squad to rush to the scene.
Preliminary examinations revealed that the explosion had been caused by an explosive device that damaged the Pavilion’s glass facade. The police reported no injuries.
The scene has been cordoned off for further examinations, with investigations into the case ongoing
