A pregnant woman was killed and her husband and 2-year-old child were injured when the military carried out an airstrike on Mae Kaw Law village in Dwe Lo Township, Hpapun District, Karen State, according to a statement from the Karen Women's Organization.

On March 8, at approximately 10:30 PM, the terrorist military bombed Mae Kaw Law village in Dwe Lo Township. A 23-year-old pregnant mother died instantly at the scene, while her 27-year-old husband and 2-year-old daughter sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel.
