In Bokpyin Township, Tanintharyi Region, an ambush on a terrorist military column resulted in 4 soldiers killed and 3 rifles seized, according to a statement from the KNU Myeik-Dawei District.

Today, March 9, at approximately 10:00 AM, a joint military column consisting of soldiers from Light Infantry Battalions 559, 560, 358, and 224 was ambushed near the 5-mile marker on the Lenya-Yadanabon road section in Bokpyin Township. The attack was carried out by the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Brigade 4, Battalion 203, and joint revolutionary forces.

During the engagement, 4 terrorist soldiers were killed and at least 10 others were wounded. Revolutionary forces seized one MA1 rifle, two MA3 rifles, and some ammunition from the terrorist soldiers.
