On the night of March 21, the Defense Forces struck at the facilities of the Saratov Oil Refinery in the Saratov Region of the Russian Federation, the General Staff reports.

Details : According to preliminary information, the oil secondary processing unit and the RVS-10000 vertical tank were damaged, the extent of the damage is being clarified.

According to the Ukrainian military, this enterprise provides oil refining and the production of fuels and lubricants, which are used for the needs of the occupation army.

For reference : Saratov Refinery is one of the oldest oil refining enterprises in Russia. As of 2023, the processing volume was 4.8 million tons.

Let us remind you : According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 283 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were allegedly destroyed over Russia during the night of March 21 .
