On 6 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting residential buildings in Douair town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). The airstrikes caused massive destruction in the neighborhood, in addition to damaging and burning several vehicles. A three-story building, belonging to a retired Lebanese officer, was targeted and damaged. The retired officer alongside four other people (including Lebanese and Syrian nationals) were killed. Nine other people were injured in the attacks.
