On 6 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in Bir Hasan (Baabda, Mount Lebanon). The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that one individual was killed in the airstrike. The IDF stated that it struck a headquarters for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as several Hezbollah sites in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The sites included Hezbollah's naval unit, executive council, and finance units.
