On 6 March 2026, an unidentified armed group (likely linked to Iranian-backed groups due to ongoing hostilities between the United States, Israel, and Iran) launched an unknown number of rockets from Abu Ghraib district toward Baghdad International Airport (Baghdad). Some of the rockets landed in empty areas far from the airport and two were intercepted by C-RAM systems of Victoria Base (coded as a separate event). There were no casualties.
