On 6 March 2026, the US military conducted a missile strike hitting the Popular Mobilization Forces 41st Brigade (Asaib Ahl Al Haq) headquarters near Ar Rashidiyah city (Ninewa) with six missiles. The PMF responded by firing DShK machine guns. Ambulances rushed to the scene. There was material damage to the site. Casualties unknown.
