On 5 March 2026, Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched 3 drones targeting the Mount Zimnako area (Derbendikhan, Al Sulaymaniyah). Two drones exploded close to two Asiacell telecom towers and the Kurdistan Channel transmission site, while the third drone failed to detonate and fell in the same area. There were no casualties.
