On 5 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out one airstrike and the Israeli military fired heavy artillery and white phosphorus shells in Khiyam town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). The IDF said that its troops from the 91st 'Galilee' Regional Division (currently deployed in the Middle Sector) observed Hezbollah operatives entering a building that served Hezbollah as a command center. The Israeli military carried out a drone strike and 'killing the operatives (fatalities coded as 3).
