On 4 March 2026, in Ma Yoe Tone (East) village (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted two airstrikes with paramotors around 9:00 pm. The airstrike killed a 13-year-old girl and a 47-year-old man and injured at least seven people. One of the injured civilians died on 5 March 2026. The airstrike also killed one pig, and two cows, and destroyed houses in three villages including Ma Yoe Tone (East), Ma Yoe Tone (North) and Ma Yoe Tone (West). 3 fatalities.
