On 4 March 2026, in Nwar Ku Aing village (Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military column stationed at the Nwar Ku Aing village conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs at a monastery where the IDPs were staying around 11 am. 4 IDPs (a 89-year-old woman, a 74-year-old woman, a 37-year-old woman and a 10-year-old child) were killed and three children were severely injured. 4 fatalities.
