On 4 March 2026, near Win Wa village (Thayetchaung township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), fighting broke out between the Myanmar military column that was advancing to Win Wa military outpost and local resistance forces. Following the clash, the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with planes, forcing locals to flee. Some military soldiers were killed and injured. There were an unspecified number of fatalities. Unknown fatalities coded as 3.
