On 4 March 2026, at 11:20 AM and 12:00 PM local time, Hezbollah militants targeted an armored personnel carrier and a Merkava tank with 'appropriate weapons' in Houla town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh), in response to Israeli attacks against dozens of cities and towns, including Beirut's southern suburbs. Hezbollah claimed 'direct hits.' Israeli warplanes carried out at least five airstrikes in the town. The IDF announced that two soldiers from the 401st Armored Brigade were moderately wounded in a anti-tank missile attack in southern Lebanon (coded to this event).
