On 4 March 2026, members of the Luach-Jang Dinka and the Jalwau section of the Rek Dinka community clashed in Makuac Payam (location coded to Makwoich, the nearest known location in Tonj East County, Warrap State). Armed youth from Wunlit (likely the Jalwau section of the Rek Dinka, who live in the area) set fire to 25 houses in Anyijong and Judaah villages (no further information). Casualties unknown.
