On 3 March 2026, Afghanistan military and Pakistan military forces clashed along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border area in Chiltan range (coded as Quetta, Balochistan). TThe cross-border firing came as Pakistan army launched a large-scale counter-operation using artillery, rocket launchers, anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), mortars, main battle tanks, and swarm drones directed at the Afghan military units.
