Around 3 March 2026, unidentified military forces (likely US or Israeli military which conducted other operations in the area around the same time) conducted an airstrike targeting a pickup trick driven by a shepherd in Shanana area west of An Nukhayb city (location unknown, coded as An Nukhayb city, Al Anbar), and killing the driver. His body was found on 6 March by the local residents after contact with him had been lost on 3 March. The man was a resident of Al Hurr/Aim Tamr in Kerbala province. 1 fatality.
