In the northeast, Russian forces cleared the remaining Ukrainian pockets of resistance in the chalk hills southwest of Zakitne and the forests northeast of Kryva Luka. Other assault groups captured the forests east of Kryva Luka and continued infiltrating the eastern streets of the village and the treelines to the south.
On the otherhand, Ukrainian forces began counterattacking from Ozerne in the direction of Yampil.
