Three dangerous armed criminals, allegedly linked to the organized crime group “Los Tiguerones,” were apprehended during a military operation carried out to neutralize threats and curb the activities of criminal organizations in the region. During the operation, a submachine gun, pistols, a carbine, ammunition of various calibers, and two mobile devices were seized—evidence allegedly used in criminal activities. The operation was carried out by the Ecuadorian Armed Forces (@FFAAECUADOR) through the Ecuadorian Army (@EjercitoECU) in the canton of Quinindé, Esmeraldas province.
