Four Arrested in Jiquipilas, Chiapas, with Drugs, Weapons, and Motorcycles in Joint Operation. State and federal agents coordinated the action. The State Preventive Guard and the FRIP (Federal Police) detected four individuals allegedly involved in drug dealing in Jiquipilas. During the search, according to reports from the SSP (State Public Security Secretariat) dated March 16, they found drugs, weapons, and various other illicit items. The detainees—Luis "N," Jhafet "N," Mauri "N," and Alberto "N"—stated that they belonged to a criminal group, according to authorities. The operation also involved the AIIM (Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes Against Women), the FGR's (Federal Attorney General's Office) AIC (Federal Ministerial Police), and the Army. Evidence seized: - 33 packets containing a crystalline substance (apparently crystal meth) - .38 caliber revolver and 16 gauge shotgun - Six .38 caliber magazines and 10 16 gauge magazines - Three Italika motorcycles, cash, and four cell phones. The detainees and the material were turned over to the appropriate authorities to determine their legal status.
