Armed Attack Leaves Motorcyclist Dead in Salamanca. The incident occurred on Bicentenario Boulevard, in the northern part of the municipality. A motorcyclist died following an attack Monday afternoon in Salamanca. According to emergency services, the initial report indicated a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at the location. Minutes later, it was confirmed that the man also had gunshot wounds. Paramedics who arrived at the scene indicated that the victim had no vital signs. Witnesses stated that he was first hit by a vehicle and then gunshots were heard. Municipal security personnel cordoned off the area and are conducting the corresponding investigation. So far, no arrests have been reported.
