An anonymous call to the 089 hotline triggered an operation today by the Sinaloa Special Operations Group (GOES), which resulted in the arrest of two suspected armed civilians in the Antonio Toledo Corro neighborhood of Escuinapa. State authorities confirmed that upon arriving at the address indicated in the tip, GOES officers observed two men who attempted to flee upon noticing their presence. After a pursuit, both were apprehended. During the subsequent inspection, according to the official report, the following items were seized: - 2 rifles, caliber 5.56x45 mm - 8 loaded magazines - 240 rounds of ammunition. The two detainees, along with the weapons and ammunition, were turned over to the Attorney General's Office for the Federal Public Prosecutor to conduct the corresponding investigations.
