Around 2 March 2026 (as reported), near Zaw Ma Det village (Sittwe township, Sittwe district, Rakhine state), the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) attacked the outposts of the Myanmar military near the Shwe Min Gan navy base. The Myanmar military at the base of the No.12 police battalion and navy in the Kaladan River fired heavy weapons during the armed clash. Casualties unknown.
