On 2 March 2026, BLF militants ambushed and attacked a Pakistan military convoy escorted by two army vehicles and motorcycles with a remote-controlled IED in the Kahda Yusuf locality in the Absar area of Turbat city (Kech, Balochistan) when the military convoy was passing through the Kahda Yusuf locality. The army opened fire in retaliation. 3 personnel in the vehicle were killed and 2 were seriously injured. A military vehicle was destroyed. 3 fatalities.
