On 2 March 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting Hezbollah's financial institution, Al-Qard al-Hasan, in Laboue town (Baalbek, Baalbek-Hermel). Casualties unknown. The IDF said it has 'completed a wave of airstrikes across Lebanon against branches of the Al-Qard al-Hasan association, known to be used by Hezbollah as a quasi-bank.' The Israeli military claimed the Al-Qard al-Hasan association is used by Hezbollah to store money, manage salaries for its operatives, transfer funds from Iran, and purchase weapons.'
