On 2 March 2026, unknown armed men threw a hand grenade at the house of a man in the northern neighborhood of Tadmor city in eastern Homs countryside. Sources claimed that the motives behind the attack were linked to accusations by local residents that the individual had been a member of a pro-government militia during the Assad regime and had been involved in looting civilian property during that period. Casualties unknown.
