On 2 March 2026, Darod-Warsangeli-Nuux Cumar sub-clan militia clashed with Isaaq-Habar Yoonis-Muse Ismail-Uruursuge sub-clan militia in Shidan village (Ceerigaabo, Sanaag). The motive was due to a dispute over mining resources (gold and minerals). There were no casualties.
