On 2 March 2026, Dir-Gadabuursi Bahabarmuse and Dir-Issa Mamasaan sub-clan militia clashed in Beeyo Macaan village near Geerisa (Lughaye, Awdal). The motive was due to land dispute. There were no casualties.
