On 2 March 2026, suspected NAS members attacked an SSPDF barracks, resulting in an armed clash in Badami, Yei County (location coded to Yei, the county headquarters in Central Equatoria State). SSPDF forces repelled the attackers and pursued them towards the DRC border (no further information). SSPDF troops increased patrols along the Yei-Maridi Road. Casualties unknown.
