On 2 March 2026, ISSP militants attacked the border post of Wouri Marka, at the border with Nigeria, coded to Nakigaza (Dogondoutchi, Dosso), a close populated center in the area. 5 people were killed, including 2 border guards (one died later from his wounds) and 3 civilians.
