On 1 March 2026, near Chin Pyit village (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike with two paramotors from the Northwestern Command and dropped toxic gas on the resistance group members around 7:30 pm. 70 of the resistance members experienced itching, vomiting, and nausea, and 8 of them were hospitalized.
