On 1 March 2026, in Leik Poke village (Pinlebu township, Kawlin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted two airstrikes with a jet fighter from Tada-U Air Base around 11:20 pm. Democratic Voice of Burma reported that the airstrike killed 11 people and injured over 10 others while Khit Thit Media, Myanmar Now, Shwe Phee Myay News Agency, Network Media Group, and the Voice of Chinland-VOC reported that the airstrike killed 9 people and unjured 14 others. Fatalities coded as 9, using the lowest estimate. 9 fatalities.
