On 1 March 2026, in Maung Mei Shaung village (Dawei township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Du Ya Ka Column attacked the Myanmar military troops who were extorting money from locals in front of the Government Technological University around 6 am. The armed clash lasted around 30 minutes. 3 military soldiers were killed and the Du Ya Ka Column seized two MA-1 rifles, a G-3 rifle, a grenade, 100 rounds of G-3 ammunition, 100 rounds of MA ammunition and five magazines. 3 fatalities.
