SAA event in Amapa, Santana area, Brazil on Sun 1st March 2026

On 1 March 2026, in Santana (Amapa), unidentified perpetrators in a car killed a man in the Hospitalidade neighborhood. The victim was standing in front of a commercial establishment near his residence when the perpetrators opened fire. He attempted to escape through the back of the building and took shelter on the upper floor of a nearby house but was pursued and shot. Rifle and pistol cartridges, including AK-47 7.62 caliber and 9mm ammunition, were recovered at the scene. The victim had prior records for illegal firearm possession, receiving stolen property, and criminal association. The killing was suspected to be related to an ongoing conflict between the CV and the FTA, and the man was suspected of being a rival of the perpetrators. 1 fatality.
