On 13 May 2021, a rocket launched from Gaza hit an open area of Ramat Negev Regional Council (HaDarom, Beer Sheva). Hamas Movement had claimed responsibility for the rocket, stating the target was Ramon International Airport, which is tens of kilometers away from the impact site.
