On 28 February 2026, near Min village (Ayadaw township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted two airstrikes with three gyrocopters on the Ayadaw-Myinmu road section. The airstrike hit civilian vehicles, killed people and injured the other people. While Khit Thit Media reported that the airstrike killed 3 people, Democratic Voice of Burma and Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that the airstrike killed 2 people. Fatalities coded as 2, using the lowest estimate. 2 fatalities.
