On 28 February 2026, Fano clashed with ENDF, Amhara regional riot police, and Kebele militia in Abadra Agaga (Dangila, Awi, Amhara), Tumha, Chiro, Debub Achefer, and Jawi (coded separately), leading to the killings of civilians on both sides. The clash began when Fano targeted state security forces' positions in the area, resulting in significant damage and an exchange of heavy artillery and machine-gun shelling. Fatalities coded as 10, split across the five locations, and coded as 2 for this event.
