Four people were arrested in Cancún following a surveillance operation; authorities seized more than 280 doses of suspected drugs. The operation took place in Superblock 249 during security patrols. Municipal police, with support from the State Attorney General's Office and the National Guard, arrested three men and one woman after they allegedly exchanged packets of illicit substances during a preventative patrol. The detainees were identified as Cristian Daniel N, Cindy del Carmen N, Enrique N, and Eleazar N, who were turned over to the Public Prosecutor's Office to determine their legal status. During the inspection, officers seized: - 162 small bags containing a dried herb resembling marijuana - 126 doses of a crystalline substance resembling crystal meth - A digital scale - A plastic object resembling a handgun. Authorities reported that in the last week of February, 31 arrests were made related to drug-related offenses, resulting in the seizure of 2,457 doses of narcotics.
