SAA event in Mexico on Tue 10th March 2026

Armed civilians attacked federal security forces after being discovered. While conducting reconnaissance in La Capilla del Taxte, Concordia, federal forces came across a camp allegedly operated by organized crime. The occupants responded with gunfire, which was immediately repelled by the authorities. After the exchange of fire, one civilian was wounded and taken into custody at the scene before being transported for medical treatment. According to the Ministry of Security, among the recovered items of evidence were: - 3 rifles - 37 magazines - Approximately 1,016 rounds of ammunition - 6 tactical vests - 10 ballistic plates.
