A man was shot at a michelada stand in Cancún; the Navy and municipal police cordoned off the area in Region 243. The incident was reported on Rancho Viejo Avenue in the La Esperanza neighborhood on Friday afternoon. According to witnesses, armed men arrived at the stand and opened fire on a man who was inside. The assailants fled in an unknown direction. Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene, and he was transported to the General Hospital. Navy and municipal police officers cordoned off the area and are conducting an investigation. No arrests have been made so far.
