SAA event in Mexico on Sat 14th March 2026

A coordinated operation in Zacatecas resulted in the arrest of three individuals after an attempted escape. Security forces seized ammunition magazines and various doses of narcotics on the highway to Sauceda de la Borda. In a joint operation by the Investigative Police and the National Guard, a suspicious vehicle was intercepted. Its occupants attempted to flee upon being detected in the municipality of Guadalupe. The operation concluded in the community of Sauceda de la Borda, where three adults were arrested in possession of illicit substances and military equipment. The items seized by law enforcement agencies included: - 8 doses of suspected methamphetamine - 19 packets of marijuana - 15 rounds of ammunition - 1 loaded magazine. The suspects, ages 34, 36, and 52, face charges of drug trafficking and possession of restricted military equipment and are now in the custody of the appropriate authorities.
