Army and Navy Strike at Crime in Sinaloa: Explosives Destroyed and Two Hitmen Camps Neutralized. A federal operation in Matatán and Buenavista uncovered an arsenal ready for use in the southern part of the state. Elements of the Mexican Army, the National Guard, and the Navy conducted an operation in El Rosario, Sinaloa, where they located and dismantled two camps linked to criminal groups. Improvised explosive devices, rifles, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and complete tactical gear were found at the sites. Among the seized material were: - 17 improvised explosive devices - 2 rifles - 13 magazines - More than 4,000 rounds of ammunition - 9 tactical vests and 15 ballistic plates. Authorities confirmed that the explosive devices were neutralized in a controlled manner and the camps were rendered unusable. No arrests or exchanges of fire were reported.
