Army sweep in La Segua concludes with arrest and discovery of key evidence. Members of the Ecuadorian Army conducted a sweep operation in the La Segua sector of Chone, resulting in the capture of Junior S., alias "Careta," accused of illicit activities. According to the military report, the following items were seized during the operation: - 1 .38 caliber revolver - Approximately 1,000 grams of suspected marijuana - 1 cell phone. The Armed Forces handed over the detainee and the evidence to judicial authorities and reaffirmed their commitment to territorial security in coordination with the country's justice institutions.
