Mission accomplished: all criminals captured and all five officers unharmed. During a raid carried out yesterday in Buenos Aires, members of the GAD (Special Operations Group) were met with gunfire from criminals as they attempted to enter a residence with a court order. The officers returned fire and brought the situation under control. All individuals named in the warrant were captured and are now in police custody. One criminal was killed in the exchange of gunfire. The outcome for the security forces: zero injuries among its five members. The operation became an example of tactical effectiveness and teamwork under extremely risky conditions. Should the State publicly recognize the officers who risk their lives in these types of operations?
