Joint surveillance detected irregularities in front of a residence and triggered a high-impact intervention. During patrols in the San Benito neighborhood, east of Culiacán, GOES agents identified suspicious vehicles and armed individuals at a property. The immediate response resulted in the arrest of eight civilians in an operation that included the participation of the Mexican Army, National Guard, Navy, SSPC (Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection), FGR (Attorney General's Office), and the State Prosecutor's Office. According to official information, the seized items include: - 3 AK-47s and 1 M-16 A4 rifle - 2 AM-15 rifles and 2 M4-type rifles - 2 pistols (.25 and 9mm calibers) - 40 magazines of various calibers - 1,215 rounds of ammunition - 8 tactical vests and 3 vehicles. The detainees and the seized items were turned over to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office. Citizens can report information anonymously by calling 089 or 911.
