Backpack with Nearly 2,000 Rounds of Ammunition Discovered by Military in Copala, Concordia. Army personnel found the weapons during a ground reconnaissance operation in the Sinaloa mountains, the Security Cabinet reported this Saturday. Upon inspecting an abandoned backpack in the community of Copala, military personnel found the following inside: - 1,976 rounds of ammunition of various calibers - A tactical vest with a ballistic plate. No arrests have been reported. Following the discovery, the military searched roads and surrounding areas for camps allegedly linked to organized crime groups, but found nothing further. The material was turned over to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
