Mexican Navy Seizes Weapons and Suspected Drugs After Chase in Navolato, Sinaloa: One Arrested and Four Long Guns Seized in Operation by the Fourth Naval Region. Naval personnel patrolling Las Trancas identified several armed individuals in a vehicle. Upon noticing the federal agents, the occupants accelerated to escape, triggering a chase. According to the Mexican Navy, the agents intercepted the vehicle and apprehended one of the suspected offenders. The vehicle was also seized. According to official information, the seized items include: - 75 packets of a granulated substance resembling crystal methamphetamine - 4 long guns - 25 magazines and live ammunition - Tactical equipment and miscellaneous items. The detainee was turned over to the authorities for the opening of the corresponding investigation. The agency indicated that these operations continue as part of the state's security strategy.
