Armed Raid on Pineapple Farm in Jamundí, Colombia, Leaves Crops Destroyed and Family Threatened. Those affected claim the attackers cited orders from “Those Above.” A pineapple farm in the Río Claro area, a rural zone of Jamundí, Valle del Cauca, was the scene of a violent incursion by a group of armed men. According to the family residing there, the men destroyed part of the plantations and made direct threats against those working on the property. The victims indicated that during the incident, the attackers said they were acting on orders from “Those Above,” an expression that, according to the complainants, is often associated with FARC dissidents present in the area.
