SAA event in Mexico on Fri 13th March 2026

Four civilians arrested with weapons in Elota, Sinaloa; one of them a minor, confirms the SSPE. Mexican soldiers detected the individuals on a rural highway while conducting ground reconnaissance patrols. On the road connecting Nuevo Salto Grande with Paredón Colorado, in Elota, soldiers surprised four men armed with rifles. After their arrest, a search confirmed that one of those apprehended was a minor. According to the official statement from the SSPE on March 12, the following items were seized: - Three rifles - One handgun - 13 magazines - Uncounted ammunition - Two tactical vests. The four detainees, along with the weapons and other evidence, were turned over to the Attorney General's Office for the formal initiation of investigations.
